The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) today declared the Class 10 and 12 results of the Winter Zone—bringing to a conclusion months of quiet suspense, earnest preparation and the weight of expectations carried by thousands of young minds.

On the occasion, Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, extended warm congratulations to all successful candidates, the teaching fraternity and the parents whose collective effort lies at the heart of this achievement.

“Results are not merely numbers; they are measurements of discipline, resolve and the invisible labour undertaken in classrooms and at dining tables. To every student who succeeded—your diligence has spoken. To every teacher—your craft is vindicated once again. And to every parent—your patience is the unseen scaffolding of this outcome.” — Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary said.

While applauding the meritorious, the Director also addressed those students who could not secure the results they aspired for, urging them neither to generalise failure nor to internalize it as destiny.

“Examinations do not determine your worth; they only test a moment in time. If your efforts did not align with your outcome today, do not surrender to despair—redirect it into persistence. Many chapters in life reward resilience far more than first attempts.”

Dr. Chowdhary encouraged students to view learning as a marathon rather than a sprint, noting that the Department of School Education remains committed to academic support, counselling initiatives and capacity-building programs aimed at strengthening student confidence across the board.

He also acknowledged the hard work put in by school administrators, non-teaching staff and district-level officials who ensured smooth conduct of the examinations and timely declaration of results.

The Directorate wished all students—both successful and striving—continued courage, curiosity and clarity as they move towards their next academic milestones.
