In a bid to encourage youth excellence and strengthen community engagement, Srinagar Police felicitated Nadeem Sabzar, son of Sabzar Ahmad, who serves as a Special Police Officer (SPO) in the Jammu & Kashmir Police, in a ceremony organized at the District Police Headquarters, Srinagar. The event was held under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, who commended Nadeem for his exceptional academic achievement — qualifying the NEET exam in his very first attempt, without private coaching. Nadeem, hailing from a modest background, achieved this feat through sheer hardwork, dedication, and perseverance. The felicitation ceremony was attended by SP Headquarters Sh. Shah Umar, DySP Headquarters Ms. Syed Sleet Shah, and other senior officers of District Srinagar. To honour Nadeem’s accomplishment, SSP Srinagar presented him with a memento, an appreciation letter, and a cash reward. In his address, SSP Srinagar praised Nadeem’s determination and resilience, for excelling against odds and expressing the hope that his achievement would serve as an inspiration for the youth of the valley. The event reflects Srinagar Police’s broader efforts to recognize positive youth role models and foster a culture of aspiration, academic pursuit, and community integration.
