The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has promoted several Indian Administrative Service officers of the AGMUT cadre to the Super Time Scale (Level-14 in the Pay Matrix) on the recommendations of the Screening Committee which met on 8 December 2025. Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, IAS (AGMUT: 2009), has been promoted with effect from 1 January 2025,. A number of IAS officers of the 2010 batch, currently posted in the cadre, have also been promoted to the Super Time Scale with effect from 1 January 2026 or from the date of assumption of charge, whichever is later.
The officers of the 2010 batch of the AGMUT cadre who have been promoted to the Super Time Scale with effect from 1 January 2026, or from the date of assumption of charge whichever is later, include Dr. D. Manikandan, IAS, Jitender Yadav, IAS, Prasanna Ramaswamy G, IAS, Arti Lal Sharma, IAS, Ram Niwas Sharma, IAS, Ajay Kumar Gupta, IAS, K. Lalrinzuali, IAS, V. Lalsangliana, IAS, Talat Parvez Iqbal Rohella, IAS, Rukhsana Gani, IAS, Rehana Batul, IAS, Mir Tariq Ali, IAS, Tai Kaye, IAS, Nyali Ete, IAS, Rajendra Kumar Sharma, IAS, and Audesh Kumar Singh, IAS.
In addition, IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre serving on Central Deputation have been granted proforma promotion to the Super Time Scale with effect from 1 January 2026, to be reckoned on actual basis from the date their immediate juniors assume charge in the cadre. The promotion orders have been issued with the approval of the Competent Authority by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
