J&K BJP President Sat Sharma (CA) chaired an organizational meeting at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to review the ongoing programmes being organized across the Union Territory under the Seva Pakhwada, marking the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The meeting was attended by BJP General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Gopal Mahajan, along with Social Media Incharge Dr. Makson Tikoo, IT Incharge Gourav Balgotra, and several senior leaders of the party.
During the meeting, Sat Sharma took a comprehensive review of the wide range of activities carried out during the fortnight-long programme, which included Swachhata Abhiyan, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, plantation drives, blood donation camps, exhibitions, health camps, screening of documentary films on the life of PM Modi, and programmes to honour Divyaangjans and other respected personalities. He also highlighted the focus on Vocal for Local, sports competitions, distribution of selected books, painting competitions, marathons, and several other initiatives that drew mass public participation.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the “Seva Pakhwada” is not just a celebration but a mission to connect society with service, harmony, and the vision of a developed India. He said that the overwhelming participation of people in cleanliness drives, plantation activities, health services, and cultural events reflects the true spirit of Modi ji’s call for Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. Every activist must ensure that the momentum continues beyond this fortnight so that service becomes an integral part of our organizational culture.
Sanjita Dogra underlined that women and youth led events have shown remarkable enthusiasm. She said these programmes have strengthened social bonding and nurtures talent while spreading the message of Seva.
Baldev Billawaria emphasized that the Swachhata Abhiyan and plantation drives have created a visible change on the ground. He said that such activities not only promote cleanliness but also connect people with the environment.
Gopal Mahajan said that BJP activists have worked tirelessly in every district. He said that from blood donation camps to honouring Divyaangjans, each event has strengthened the bond between the party and society.
