The Ladakh Administration on Tuesday ordered transfers and postings of several officers in the interest of administration.

According to Order No. 139-LA (GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department Ladakh a copy of which lies with news agency , Sachin Bali (JKAS) has been posted as Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, Leh, and will also hold additional charge of Assistant Director Handloom, Leh. Sumera Shafi (JKAS) and Deachen Chondol (JKAS) have been posted as Under Secretaries in the Lt Governor’s Secretariat, while Dr. Tundup Namgail has been appointed as OSD to the Chief Secretary.

Further, Huma Khan (JKAS) has been posted as Under Secretary in School Education/Higher Education/YSS & H&P Department, while Mohd Shabir has been posted as Tehsildar Kharu with additional charge of SDM Kharu.

The order states that all officers are deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect and have been directed to join their new assignments forthwith.
