Kreeda Bharati Jammu and Kashmir organised a two-day seminar (Varg) aiming at spreading the idea of working of the organisation across newly formed district units in the Union Territory.

Convenor North of the Kreeda Bharati, Deepak Sharma was resource person, who guided the delegates from the districts of Reasi, Udhampur, Doda, Rajouri, Poonch and Jammu by divulging the knowledge about working and organisation structure.

In this two-day event, the participants, both young and seniors also learned the idea of staying healthy by adopting a sport while practicing Yoga on a daily basis.

Spreading across various sessions, experts in medical, social and sports expressed their view point thus telling the untold stories of those successful individuals from the world of sports.

The visiting resource person, Deepak Sharma presented a detailed note of the Kreeda Bharati as an organisation and its activities. He told in length about the five annual programmes of Kreeda Gyan Priksha, Hanuman Janamotsav (foundation day), Maa Jijabhai Puraskar, National Sports Day, Wold Yoga Divas.

Advocate Sudesh Sharma delivered guest lecture on fundamental duties of an individual with focus on ‘Panch Parivartan’ aiming at balanced developed of society as a whole.

Earlier, during the day, Sports Medicine Specialist and chairman Medical Commission of the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA), Dr Sanjogita Soodan had an interactive session aiming at spreading the awareness about Doping and its impacts on the career as well as health of an athlete. Senior vice president of Kreeda Bharati J&K, Dr Soodan, expressed her concern about the growing number of doping instances in India.

Earlier, secretary Kreeda Bharati J&K, Ashutosh Sharma welcomed and introduced the delegates from the district units to the dais. Senior vice president, Rajesh Chander Vaid and treasurer, Rahul Sharma delivered vote of thanks thus asking the district units to spread the wings of the organisation.

Other senior members of the Kreeda Bharati J&K, who were part of the organising team included Vikas Sharma (Sampark Parmukh), Sunil Mahajan (vice president), Raj Kumar (joint secretary) and Sanjeev Sharma (Prachar Parmukh).
