In view of the fresh snowfall in Gulmarg, the Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday announced the commencement of Khelo India Winter Games 2025 from March 9 to 12.
“The second chapter of Khelo India Winter Games 2025 will commence in Gulmarg on March 9 and will conclude on March 12,” said authorities.
As per the officials, all the arrangements pertaining to it have been finalized by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
Pertinent to mention, the Khelo India Winter Games scheduled to February 22 was earlier deferred owing to insufficient snow in the region.
Besides, the first leg of Khelo India Winter Games was hosted by Ladakh in January. These games play crucial role in fostering the sportsmanship additionally contributing to good health.
