Baramulla, J&K: Baramulla Police have attached a double-storeyed residential property under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA) in connection with a terror-related case.
According to the police, the property belongs to accused Aijaz Ahmad Ganie and was found, prima facie, to have been used for providing shelter and logistical support to terrorists and facilitating terrorist activities.
Police said the property has been attached under the relevant provisions of the UAPA concerning proceeds of terrorism. The action forms part of ongoing proceedings in the terror-related case.
