Heritage School takes immense pride and pleasure in announcing that Puneesh Puri, a talented and dedicated student of Class X-D, has been selected to represent India at the prestigious World Skate Europe Track Series 2026 to be held from 9 April to 19 April, 2026, across two prominent venues in Portugal and Germany.
The series comprises two highly competitive and globally recognized tournaments. The first event- the 21st International Inline Speed Skating Tournament - Terras do Infante, is scheduled to take place in Lagos, Portugal, from 9 April to 12April, 2026. This will be followed by the Arena Geisingen International 2026, to be held in Geisingen, Germany, from 16 April to 19 April, 2026 attracting top skaters from across the world.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Puneesh Puri is the only skater from the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir to earn a place in this prestigious international series. His selection by the reputed Simmons Rana Racing Team is a testament to his consistent hard work, discipline and outstanding performance in various national competitions over the past year, where he has secured multiple medals and accolades.
Despite being the youngest member of the team, Puneesh has already demonstrated exceptional skill, determination and maturity in his sport.  His participation at such a distinguished international platform marks a significant milestone in his career and serves as an inspiration to fellow students and aspiring athletes.
