The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a stern warning to teachers and evaluators involved in Class 10 and Class 12 board exams, cautioning them against sharing misleading or incorrect information about the evaluation process. The Board stressed that all evaluation-related work is confidential and that disclosing any details publicly is strictly prohibited.

In an official notice, CBSE highlighted that some evaluators have been posting comments, opinions, and experiences on social media regarding the evaluation of Class X and XII exams. “Many of these posts are misleading and factually incorrect, creating confusion and spreading rumours among stakeholders,” the notice said.

Professional conduct is mandatory
The Board reminded evaluators that maintaining confidentiality is a professional responsibility. “Teachers are expected to uphold the integrity of the examination system and conduct their duties with professionalism, dignity, and discretion,” CBSE stated. Violating these rules may lead to disciplinary action, including legal consequences.

CBSE also cautioned individuals who are not directly involved in evaluations but are sharing misleading content online. “Such actions create unnecessary confusion and affect the credibility of the examination system,” the Board said.
