Acting tough against anti-national elements, Police in Baramulla booked two persons under the Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.
The booked persons namely Abdul Rashid Sheikh son of Ali Mohd resident of Lalpora Kharkhal Kunzer; and Mohd Akbar Malik son of Abdul Gani resident of Lalpora Wanikhal Kunzer have been detained and subsequently lodged in District Jail Udhampur.As per officials many cases are registered against the arrested persons and were involved in disturbance of law & order and subversion.
Despite their involvement in many FIRs the arrested persons did not mend their anti-national and anti-social activities, the officials added.
