Amit Shah meets RRR fame actor Ram Charan and his father Chiranjeevi, congratulates them on Oscar win

Union Home Minister Amit Shah met with RRR fame actor Ram Charan and his father Chiranjeevi in New Delhi today. The Union minister congratulated the pair for RRR's huge win at the Oscars 2023. Ram Charan and Jr NTR-starrer and SS Rajamouli directed RRR's song won the award for 'Best Original Song' at the 95th Academy Awards earlier this week.Sources noted that the meeting between Amit Shah and Chiranjeevi, a former Union Minister, was majorly political. The duo discussed the current politiacl scene in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Sources also said BJP leader Amit Shah might have extended an invitation to Chiranjeevi to join the party.

Chiranjeevi shared pictures of the meeting with Union Minister Amit Shah and wrote, "Thank you Shri @AmitShah

Amit Shah also shared pictures of his meeting with the actors and called Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi 'two giants of Indian cinema'. "The Telugu film industry has significantly influenced India's culture and economy," read a tweet by the Union Minister.
