A student was shot and injured by terrorists on Wednesday evening in Watrigama Wanihama area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, police said.
A police spokesman said in a post on X that terrorists fired upon a youth identified as Sahil Bashir, a resident of Wanihama.
He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Soon after the incident whole area was cordoned off to nab the attackers, said the spokesman.
