The Jammu and Kashmir unit of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) has challenged the BJP Government's claims of five achievements and announced the recognition of those who reveal their achievements and work for the local people's rights and public issues.

Speaking at the program organized at
Bagga Jana village of RS Pura, border area of ??Jammu. , Manish Sahni, President Shiv Sena J&K said that in the upcoming assembly elections, BJP's claims of touching 50 seats will prove to be Mungeri Lal's beautiful dreams.

Sahni said that Shiv Sena's challenge is to reveal only five achievements pertaining to the betterment of local people and public issues. Not only that, those who accept this challenge and reveal their achievements will also be honored with special prizes and memorabilia, he said.

“The BJP that won historic victories during the 2014 Assembly elections and both seats of Lok Sabha from the Jammu region has neglected the people of Jammu. What achievements has the BJP made beyond its hollow promises to safeguard our multiculturalism, linguistic identity, trade, education, and health, and to push for voting rights?" Sahni questioned.
Sahni said “On August 5, 2019, Jammu & Kashmir was divided into two Union Territories and lost its state status. Democratic processes have not been restored in the state. Promises of development, employment, investment, and restoration of peace proved to be mere gimmicks. The burden of taxes on the people in times of inflation and recession has increased. The City of Temples, Jammu, has been turned into a liquor hub, mining, drugs, and flesh trade mafia have spread their wings, corrupt practices and crime.” The BJP leaders are beating the drum of hollow achievements, he added.
Later, dozens of people, influenced by the party's policies and ideology, joined the Shiv Sena.
Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, Sandeep Bhagat, and President of Labor Wing Raj Singh welcomed the new members by presenting Shivbandhan to them.
