Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma today chaired a meeting of the district officers and prominent citizens of village Palli of Bari Brahamana block and reviewed the progress of development works there. Village Palli is being developed under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna with the implementation of several Central sponsored schemes. .

While addressing the gathering, he said that vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is “If we have to build the nation we have to start from the villages” and he believes that “if every MP transforms villages in his/her Constituency into model villages, a large number of villages in the country would see holistic development”. ”

The MP asked the concerned officers to work collectively to ensure effective implementation of Central Schemes and generate massive awareness among the people so that they can avail benefits of the same.   

The Member of Parliament laid stress on the effective implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission and under Samajik Nyay Pakhwada a nationwide flagship programme. He also inspected the Community water point in the village provided under Jal Jeevan Mission. He said that near about Rs 1.50 crore were going to be spent in the village Palli on Jal Jeevan Mission with the target to provide tap water connection to every household.

Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta informed that as per the parameters of SAGY a 98 point action programme has been finalized to be executed through various line departments. The planned development works for Palli Panchayat include saturation of Golden Cards, implementation of Social Security Schemes, development of Lane drain, culverts, roads etc, Maximizing green coverage, achieving zero carbon emissions, growth on socio-economic parameters, school education development, 24*7 availability of water, Electricity, irrigation channels and others.

District Development Council Chairman Keshav Dutt; DDC Member Asha Rani; Ex Minister C P Ganga; SSP Abhishek Mahajan; Sarpanch Palli, Randhir Sharma, besides District officers ADDC, ADC, PO ICDS, ACD, SDM and others were also present.
