Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament Lok Sabha along with Former Minister Priya Sethi & Former Dy Mayor Purnima Sharma today visited Ward No. 01 and Ward No. 08 of Jammu East Assembly constituency and held Voter Chetna Mahaabhiyaan Campaign.During his visit he interacted with new voters and public & awared them for importance to register and caste vote.

Member of Parliament while interacting with new voters and public said that Voter Chetna Mahaabhiyan is a Voter Awareness Campaign is an initiative launched nationwide by Bharatiya Janata Party for promoting Voter education and awareness among the new voters & citizens.He said that under this campaign various camps are organized at various locations & wards to interact with new Voters.He said that It emphasizes the importance of voting in a democratic society and encourages eligible individuals to participate actively in the electoral process. He said that Casting a vote is essential for every citizen and each vote holds equal importance, it's a way for individuals to express their preferences and his contribution to the democratic process. He said that the registration of new voters is a fundamental process and enables eligible citizens who have reached the voting age to become active participants in shaping the future of their country. Voter registration process empowers newcomers to exercise their right to vote during elections.Casting a vote is essential for every citizen, regardless of their caste or background.This campaign is initiated for encouraging every citizen to register himself to caste vote to pay his share for development and diversity.
