Inter Globe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, hasdecided to expand its Board of Directors up to 10 members including 4independent directors, the company said in a BSE filing.
"The Board of Directors of the company, at its meetingheld on July 20, 2019, have decided to amend the Articles of Association of theCompany for expanding the board up to a maximum of 10, including 4 independentdirectors. The said amendment of the articles will be subject to approval ofthe shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting of thecompany," IndiGo said in a BSE filing. Currently Indigo board comprisessix members – Chairman M. Damodaran, Rahul Bhatia, Rakesh Gangwal, AnupamKhanna, Anil Parashar, and Rohini Bhatia who is an independent woman boardmember.
