Today on 18.08.2023, IGP Traffic Sh.Bhim Sen Tuti IPS accompanied by DIG Traffic Sh. Shridhar Patil IPS and other senior traffic police officers visited Samba, Kathua and Udhampur and Jammu districts to assess the situation of NHW and Dhar road especially in view of damage to Tarnah bridge resulting diversion via londi morh, Sherpur, Chakra morh upto Lakhanpur. From Lakhanpur he continued towards Udhampur via Dhar road.
Detailed assessment of traffic arrangements vis-a-vis the roads condition in view of damages and upcoming fruit season was conducted and he briefed the officers and officials deployed enroute. IGP Traffic directed to ensure smooth flow of traffic with advance and accurate assessment of traffic and use of modern technology.
