Army Public School (APS)made it a clean sweep winning title trophies in both under-14 and under-17 boysinter-school district level Handball competition held under the banner ofDepartment of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Sports Stadium, here today.

The APS Udhampur defeatedBBSV Peeth Udhampur in both under-14 and under-17 finals.

In the meantime, thedepartment conducted trials to raise the district team in Basketball under-14and under-17 categories. The trials were conducted by Ajay Sharma, ManikNargotra, kuldeep kumar, Ashutosh, Ranveer Singh, Meenu and Anupama. Theselected girls shall participate in the Divisonal level inter district tournamentnext month.

The entire activity heldunder the supervision of district officer (DYSS), Kharati Lal Sharma.

The Handball competitionconducted by the technical penal including Bandana Sharma, Vipin Potra, Rishikumar, Karun Magotra, Pallvi and sourab.

Among others present were JaswinderSingh, Sanjay Gupta, Raman Gupta, Deepika, Somdev,Rakesh khajuria, RajeshSharma, Asha and Meenakshi.
